Chow Yun-Fat Lets “Bullets Fly”
Chow Yun-Fat and Chinese actor Ge You are teaming for the action comedy “Let The Bullets Fly” for Emperor Motion Pictures and Beijing Buyilehu Film says Screen Daily.
Set in China during the 1920’s, Chow will play a visionary triad leader at a time when the country was torn apart by feuding warlords. Jiang also stars in the film as a bandit who proclaims himself mayor of a remote provincial town.
The script took a long time to finalise with nine rewrites and no less than ten different endings considered before being locked down earlier this week.
Jiang Wen directs the $18 million project currently in production and slated for release next Fall.
