Holy “Chuck”, Six Additional Episodes
In a good sign for fans, NBC has ordered a further six episodes of “Chuck” for mid-season, bringing its total to nineteen episodes (three shy of a full season) says EW.
The network originally picked up a thirteen episode third season of the critically-acclaimed but modestly rated spy-themed comedy/action series which was to air starting in March after the Winter Olympics.
However with “Southland” gone and “Trauma” almost certainly not getting a pick-up, the struggling Peacock may be bringing the show back for an earlier bow in January and thus needs more episodes to fill out the order.
