Steve Martin & Alec Baldwin Host Oscars
Funny men Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin are set to co-host the 82nd Annual Academy Awards airing March 7th on ABC.
Steve Martin hosted the Oscars in 2001 and 2003, however this will be Alec Baldwin’s first time. Both however have plenty of experience with live TV, both being among SNL’s most frequent guest hosts.
Though there have been Oscars with multiple hosts in the past, this will be the first time two hosts have shared the same locale on Oscar Night since the very first ceremony in 1929.
Martin and Baldwin appeared together on an episode of NBC’s “30 Rock” and both are among the cast of the upcoming Nancy Meyers comedy “It’s Complicated”.
