Luke Greenfield Finds “Something Borrowed”

Luke Greenfield (“The Girl Next Door”) has signed on to direct romancer “Something Borrowed” for Alcon Entertainment and 2S Films says Variety.

Based on Emily Giffin’s debut novel of the same name, the story centers on a Manhattan attorney who becomes involved with her best friend’s fiancé following her 30th birthday, forcing her to decide between a life-long friend and the man of her dreams.

Jennie Urman adapted the script. Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Hilary Swank, Molly Smith, Aaron Lubin and Pamela Schein Murphy will produce. Filming aims to kick off in the first half of next year.
