“Fireproof” Team Get “Courageous”
Sherwood Pictures, who turned low-budget faith-based features “Fireproof” and “Facing the Giants” into solid box-office hits, announced their next project this weekend – “Courageous”.
The story follows four fathers and friends, all in law enforcement, who go through a terrible tragedy and begin looking at their role as fathers. They’re soon challenging one another to fulfill God’s intention for fathers.
Senior Pastor Michael Catt, Executive Pastor Jim McBride, and ministers Stephen and Alex Kendrick will all produce. Like their previous films, the plan is to use fans, churches, and organizations across the country to build an audience.
Shooting kicks off in March 2010 in Albany, no word on a release date as yet.
