ABC has announced the sixth and final season will premiere on Tuesday, February 2nd 2010 with a two-hour premiere at 9pm.
Its then expected to air all eighteen of its episodes in the Tuesday 9pm slot uninterrupted through to either a three-hour finale on May 18th or most likely a two-hour one on May 25th.
Real Time with Bill Maher
HBO has picked up “Real Time with Bill Maher” for an eighth season. The show drew 1.2 million viewers in its 10pm time slot last season, up 24% from season six.
The Oprah Winfrey Show
After 25 years on the air, Oprah’s day time talk show will end its run on September 9th 2011 reports Variety.
It’s undetermined as yet if Winfrey will launch a new talk show on OWN, her burgeoning cable network partnership with Discovery Communications which launches January 2011 and will have the rights to the entire 25-year “Oprah Winfrey Show” catalog beginning in September 2011.
