Hilton Garden Inn: Irvine California

Recently we had the chance to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in beautiful Irvine California. The hotel recently opened and offers accommodations for travelers near the Orange County Airport. Although surrounded by office complexes, the hotel as easy access to a wide range of amenities ranging from restaurants, convenience stores, fast food locales, and offers very easy access to Newport Beach and Disneyland.

Upon entering the hotel I notice just how clean and inviting it looked and the fireplace in the lobby combined with the Christmas decor made for a very inviting welcome. The lobby was also equipped with gourmet waters such as cucumber water, and in the morning offered hot beverages and cookies in the evening. Our check-in was very quick and we made our way to the elevator to check out our room after a long day.

The hotel offers rooms and suites and our room was very inviting as it had a flat screen television, desk and workstation, as well as comfortable furniture and beds and a spacious bathroom and shower. The room even had a Keurig and pods available should you wish to make coffee or tea during your stay.

The room also offered a fridge and microwave as well as a hair dryer and ironing board and a clock radio that accommodated MP3 players.

Premium channels were available on the television and the complementary Wi-Fi certainly allowed you to mix business and pleasure for whatever needs arose during our stay.

The Garden Grille offered plenty of dining options ranging from appetizers to heartier fare that could be enjoyed in the dining area, taken to go, or delivered to your room. For those on the go there is a pantry which offers numerous snacks and sundries as well as food items for guests to simply can’t stop for more than a cup of coffee in the morning before heading out.

One of things I noticed upon arrival was the sound of children playing in the pool and despite the unusually cold weather on Christmas Day, full was an extremely warm and inviting place to get in some exercise and relax anytime that it is needed. There was also a fitness area for those looking to get in a workout and the hotel offered a wide range of business services for those needing to be productive during their travels. Everything from laundry service to safety deposit boxes, printing services, and conference rooms could be obtained which makes this location an ideal place for business travelers as well as those looking to get away for a relaxing stay.

I found bed extremely comfortable and despite being spoiled by our memory foam mattress at home we had a very sound and peaceful sleep which allowed us to get plenty arrest for the long day ahead. After a very long and busy day, we returned to the hotel and found that our rooms had been clean and refreshed for our return including a resupply of coffee and tea which came in handy as it was colder than expected during our stay outside. Despite the cold temperatures, the hotel was extremely warm and inviting and made for a very welcome and the day as we enjoyed dining in the room while watching television.

Like any good stay this one ended too quickly for our liking is we certainly would have been more than happy to spend more time enjoying this very relaxing, modern, and enjoyable hotel.

Our checkout was extremely prompt and courteous and the staff streaming friendly and suggesting times the year that are not as busy traditionally which would make ideal times for us to visit again during the course of our travels.

We have visited the Hilton Garden Inn of Scottsdale Arizona on a couple occasions, so we had a little bit of an idea as to what to expect in terms of the care and services. I can honestly say that the hotel and staff surpassed all of our expectations and made for a very enjoyable and well-rounded stay from all aspects of our trip.

Highly recommend checking out this locale when in the area as with an approximate 25-35 minute travel time to Disneyland it makes a convenient place to stay that offers full services and amenities at a fraction of what you would pay for at the resort hotels.
