New High-Fidelity VR Devices Shipping This Summer
April 30, 2019 – Full details of Valve Index, a collection of
high-fidelity VR devices, is now available at

The devices include the Index HMD, Controller, and 2.0 Base Stations.
To enable a variety of options for those looking to upgrade their VR
experience, the headset and controllers are compatible with all Steam
VR games, and all the items are offered individually as well as in
various combinations.
Pre orders begin tomorrow (May 1) for the initial, limited-quantity
launch within the United States and the European Union. These units are
targeted to begin shipping by July 1.
