I have enjoyed playing the game so it will be interesting to see what is new.
Flying Wild Hog’s free-to-play sci-fi looter-shooter Space Punks will receive its first content patch this week, delivering improved gameplay and deeper character progression with its “The Talented One” update.
In addition to dozens of gameplay tweaks, hundreds bug fixes and a refresh of the game’s hub zone – Devil’s Gambit – the update includes an overhauled Talent Tree for deeper character customization, allowing players to carefully plan out what type of misfit they want to play as by picking from a tree of 126 talents. Whether it’s greater utility, tanking more damage, or causing more destruction, the talent tree is there to help you play the game your way.
The update also introduces the first stage of The Gear Upgrade System, where players can take the material they loot and cash they find to upgrade their favorite weapons, allowing players to continue to use their gear for longer to cause more damage and bigger explosions. Finally, the in-game Scaraby 8G companion owned by players who have purchased the Splendor early access Founders Packs for Space Punks will be returning to service after a recent recall, meaning they can spend more time wreaking havoc without the risk of losing out on that sweet sweet loot.
