Alex Ross Art Returns To SDCC With A Marvel Mural

Artwork is always a favorite of mine and SDCC always has so much amazing things to enjoy.

Alex Ross Art is returning to Comic-Con International San Diego in style. The sleek gallery experience will include a stunning reproduction of the Marvel: Heroes mural illustrated by the legendary comics artist of Kingdom Come and Marvels, convention exclusives, art debuts, and more.

Originally created for the Marvel Studio’s corporate office, the Marvel: Heroes mural is a life-size rendering that will be on public display for the first time and take up a full wall of the Alex Ross Art booth at Comic-Con International San Diego. Fans in attendance are encouraged to stop by Booth #2415 for a special photo opp to pose with the iconic characters and share their photos on social media tagging @AlexRossArt and the official convention hashtag #SDCC2022.

“I have 35 characters total in the painting,” says Ross. “Each single character is its own painting, so that we can combine them in a final layout, but each individual piece can be used in different ways. Every painting I’ve done individually is about a day’s work.”

And now available for the first time as a San Diego Comic Con 2022 exclusive, fans can own and display their very own Marvel: Heroes mural.
