Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind Delivers Intense And Gory Action

The latest animated Mortal Kombat movie has arrived in time for the 30th
anniversary of the franchise and “Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind”
delivers the gory action that fans of the franchise expect. The intense opening sequence which shows villagers intensely and
graphically dispatched by Kano’s Black Dragon forces, audiences know what
they are in for and the film never retreats from taking the intense
violence to an extreme and graphic level.

When a young but brash warrior comes to town and challenges members of the
Black Dragon, sets into motion a series of events that causes him to
seek the help and training of a reluctant individual who has a secret past
that he wishes to keep hidden.

Eventually, the training is complete and the warrior sets out to take on
Kano and his minions and in doing so stirs up more trouble than expected
but thankfully, hope and help come in the form of some unexpected allies.

The film does take some time to build up momentum after the opening
segment but once the final confrontation takes place, it is an extended,
the intense, and bloody battle which contains all the mayhem, action, and
over-the-top gore that fans of the franchise expect.

Warner Bros has found a great one-two combination for the franchise with
R-Rated animated and live-action films which move past the PG-13 cinematic
offerings of old. As the game franchise has become more graphic and
intense so has the movie side of things and while sure to be
controversial to some, the series gives fans what they want.
