Rhythm Galaxy

An interesting music game coming and the music is great.

Warner Music Group (NASDAQ: WMG), the global music and entertainment company, has joined forces with award-winning Swedish game studio, Hello There Games, to release Invector: Rhythm Galaxy, a narrative-driven rhythm game set to a soundtrack of 40 hit songs from a variety of music genres. Invector: Rhythm Galaxy will allow players to navigate breathtaking, celestial landscapes while mastering the beat of chart-topping hits from artists such as Charlie Puth, PinkPantheress, Duran Duran, and many more.

Invector: Rhythm Galaxy follows on the heels of AVICII Invector, the critically acclaimed rhythm music game, co-developed by Hello There Games and the late EDM icon himself. Leveraging WMG’s roster of global artists and its deep catalogue of recorded music, Invector: Rhythm Galaxy takes the game to new heights, appealing to a variety of musical tastes.

Players will embark on a cosmic journey through song and space, flying through 8 vibrant cosmic landscapes. Play solo or put the party into hyperdrive with 2-player and 4-player local multiplayer, bringing exhilarating head-to-head competition to life. With options to choose from 4 difficulty levels, the game offers a fun challenge for all skill levels.

This is WMG’s first foray into games publishing, illustrating the company’s commitment to delivering thrilling, interactive experiences that take the musical experience beyond sound.

“This venture into gaming showcases our commitment to reimagining the boundaries of music and how it is defined by artists and fans alike within our evolving ecosystem,” said Oana Ruxandra, Chief Digital Officer and EVP, Business Development, WMG. “Invector: Rhythm Galaxy intertwines the power of music with the interaction of gaming to build active, immersive experiences for fans and new revenue streams for WMG’s artists.”

“At Hello There Games, our unwavering passion for music and gaming fuels our drive. Many of our team members are talented musicians themselves,” says Oskar Eklund, CEO and founder of Hello There Games. “We are so excited to bring this game to the next level with Warner Music Group and their amazing artists. We can’t wait for everyone to experience the magic of Invector: Rhythm Galaxy firsthand.”

Invector: Rhythm Galaxy will be available on July 14, first on PC. For all the latest news and updates, visit www.invectorgame.com.
