The Stars Of The Walking Dead: Dead City Stage A New York Takeover

This was a clever way to promote the new series.

On Wednesday, June 14, AMC Networks’ The Walking Dead Universe took over iconic New York City establishments ahead of the highly anticipated premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City, set in a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, on Sunday, June 18 at 9:00pm ET on AMC and AMC+.

Series stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Gaius Charles, Željko Ivanek and Mahina Napoleon stopped by Katz’s Deli, where the first 200 customers were treated to a complimentary half pastrami sandwich and 4 oz. coleslaw.

 

AMC also partnered with other famed NYC establishments including H&H Bagels, Joe’s Pizza, the New York Hot Dog King Cart, and more. Each location featured merchandise giveaways and the show’s legendary Walkers, along with treats from the NYC staples.
