Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden Is A Compelling Supernatural Adventure

Every so often a game arrives without an avalanche of fanfare and surpasses expectations to deliver a game experience worthy of notice.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden introduces players to a romantic couple who are a pair of Banishers who rid communities of spirits

When they arrive at New Eden they learn that death and dread are all around them and after an extended setup and exploration; encounter tragedy that underscores the magnitude of the threat is greater than anything they expected.

Armed with blades that can block and dispatch Spectral attacks; players can gather resources to cast spells to aid them on their quests and can jump between characters as they explore a detailed and vast landscape.

Players have choices of response when dealing with NPC characters which while offering a deeper storyline does lead to breaks in the action as there were some very long segments where I had to wait and work my way through reaponse options while I waited to get back to the action.

The third person perspective and Old-World settings made for an immersive experience as while pathfinding and pacing at times became frustrating; the appealing story and action made for a fun game experience that gamers looking for a mix of action and supernatural shoulf enjoy.
