SeaWorld San Diego has unleashed its monstrous MAYhem Sale, offering horror fans an exclusive, limited-time opportunity to lock in at a low price for its award-winning Halloween event, Howl-O-Scream 2025. Guests who take advantage of the MAYhem Sale can purchase tickets for just $39.99 each when buying two or more tickets. These tickets are valid for any Howl-O-Scream event night in 2025—no blackout dates apply.
This year’s Howl-O-Scream event is set to deliver even more thrills, chills and unexpected frights than ever before.
Intended for a mature audience, Howl-O-Scream offers screams, suspense and surprises through multiple haunted houses, scare zones and vile vignettes throughout the event. Between scares and screams, guests can enjoy live entertainment shows, themed food and drinks at bars and speakeasies, dance floors with creepy DJs and lively music, plus coasters in the dark.

Howl-O-Sprint 5k
To add on to the haunting time of year, SeaWorld San Diego will host Howl-O-Sprint 5k, a family-friendly 3.1 mile run/walk, on Sunday, October 19. Sprint participants will encounter a host of Halloween-themed surprises at every turn, including lively characters and captivating décor from the park’s Howl-O-Scream, as well as the kid-friendly daytime event, Spooktacular. Along the way, runners and walkers will also have the chance to catch a glimpse of SeaWorld’s amazing marine animals, ensuring an unforgettable experience that cannot be missed. Catering to all ages and fitness levels, the event is perfect for families and running enthusiasts alike, with a 1K Kids Fun Run available for children ages 12 and under.
