I recently visited Bubble Planet, and while some parts of the experience felt like standard immersive fare, there were several standout moments that made the visit memorable—and a couple that missed the mark.
The giant bubble bath-inspired ball pit was by far my favorite. It wasn’t the usual colorful chaos—instead, it felt like stepping into a whimsical, oversized bubble bath. The semi-transparent, pearlescent balls, combined with the slowly rising and falling cloud-like ceiling, created a dreamy, spa-like vibe.
The monochromatic design added a sense of calm sophistication that’s rare in playful spaces like this.
Another standout was the room filled with vertically hung globe bulbs surrounded by infinity mirrors. This was a fantastic and creative take on an infinity room maze. The bulbs lit up in beautiful patterns, and the endless reflections made the space feel both futuristic and mesmerizing.
I also really enjoyed the underwater scene projected on the floor. It was beautifully done, and chasing the virtual fish as they darted away added an interactive, whimsical layer to the experience. It was a playful and visually captivating moment that made me feel like a kid again.
Of course, I can’t forget the room filled with giant blown-up balloons—this was pure silly fun! Chasing, batting, and dodging the oversized balloons had us laughing nonstop.
That said, not everything hit the same high note. The room that released bubbles from the ceiling was underwhelming. The bubbles were few and far between, leaving us wondering why they even bothered. It felt like a missed opportunity in what should have been a bubbly highlight.
Overall, Bubble Planet offers a playful, photo-op escape with several standout moments of wonder and creativity, but also a few areas that could use more attention to detail and wow factor. I’d still recommend it for those looking for a lighthearted, visually immersive experience—but go in with the understanding that not every room is equally magical.
