Released in 2008, Wrath of the Lich King was the second expansion to Blizzard Entertainment’s famous MMORG, World of Warcraft. This expansion expanded the world of Azeroth by introducing the continent of Northrend. Its compelling storyline offered players the chance to confront the Lich King in his frozen citadel and concluded Arthas’s story, which began in the real-time strategy game, Warcraft III. In 2022, Blizzard announced the expansion would be coming to World of Warcraft Classic, and Wrath of the Lich King Classic was released later that year.
