Six Flags Magic Mountain Reveals Fright Fest

This sounds like great Halloween fun.

LOS ANGELES, Ca. – Aug. 11, 2025Six Flags Magic Mountain unveils this year’s gruesome lineup for Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS®, featuring legendary horror franchises at this highly anticipated annual event. Nightmares come to life with guests trying to survive Jigsaw’s ultimate trial in SAW: Legacy of Terror, facing off with the evils lurking in the Warren’s Occult Museum as they make their way through The Conjuring Universe and test their bravery as they enter the world of Trick ‘r Treat.

Beginning Sept. 19 through Nov. 2, thrill-seekers and horror enthusiasts are invited to immerse themselves in the pulse-pounding excitement and terror that only Fright Fest can deliver with new and enhanced haunted mazes, new scare zones, a brand-new show and plenty of frights.

Details of this year’s HAUNTED MAZES include:

  • *NEW* Carnage presented by M&M’S® – Enter the chaotic fortress of the original true villain, CARNAGE. This is your origin story, your path to becoming a disciple of the most villainous clown in a city under siege. With every step you take, you become possessed with the evil around you. If you survive, let your darkness forever rage on for CARNAGE.

  • SAW: Legacy of Terror – Welcome to the ultimate trial of survival in SAW: Legacy of Terror. Step into the world of SAW with a diabolical experience honoring the franchise’s legacy of terror by plunging into the depths of Jigsaw’s twisted mind. Traverse iconic scenes inspired by the films and come face to face with some of John Kramer’s most diabolical contraptions before time runs out.

  • The Conjuring UniverseBased on New Line Cinema’s iconic horror franchise: enter the Warrens’ occult museum where their most terrifying cases await. Face Annabelle’s malevolent stare, flee from The Nun’s unholy presence, and survive the Perron farmhouse’s demonic forces. Each cursed artifact awakens ancient evil. Tonight, you’re not just observing their cases; you’ve become part of them.

  • Vault 666 Demonic relics and obsolete oddities are locked in an abandoned vault in this dark and sinister antique shop, with possessions many die to have. Will you make it out alive?
  • Willoughby’s Resurrected The Willoughby’s family mansion tale unfolds before your eyes at this once-affluent Victorian mansion that has become a haven to evil spirits.

Details of this year’s SCARE ZONES include:

  • *NEW* Thunderbolt Alley – The 1950s and Rockabilly vices are thriving in this all-new alternate universe where classic monsters of all kinds are rocking and rolling to the beat of their afterlives. This high-energy experience is sure to wake the dead and burn rubber.

  • *NEW* Nightmares: Reign of Blood – It’s time to experience a new chapter of fear as you enter the twisted world of Wonderland, and with every step you take, time is running out. The sinister Queen of Hearts and her forces of darkness are on the hunt for you and painting the roses red with blood. For those that go down the rabbit hole, nightmares are around every corner.
  • CarnivHELLStep right up and enter this once-thriving circus taken over by a carnivorous band of carnies.

  • City Under SiegeExperience the city of death alive with the chaos and the laughter of sinister clowns created by CARNAGE.

  • Devil’s Triangle – Drift into the darkest caves of the deep blue sea where the souls of many have been lost to the Devil’s Triangle.

  • Exile HillThe hill is alive with spirits of the damned and the curse of the Willoughby family. Shadows of evil thrive and search for innocent souls.

  • Grimmlore Ridge Enter a chilling realm where fear takes root and grows wild, leaving the daunting calls of ravens and crows echoing through the twisted branches and shadowed alleyway.
  • Plaza de La Muerte Step into the spectral celebration of Dia de los Muertos where vibrant colors blend with eerie shadows in an immersive dance of spirits and traditions.
  • Underworlds of Oz Journey through the dark side of Emerald City and the mystical realms of Oz where twisted enchantments and ominous shadows consume the golden path, and the line between fantasy and nightmare blurs into a chilling adventure unlike any other.

Details of this year’s SHOWS include:

  • *NEW* Margo Rita’s Monster Ball – It’s time to choose a new queen of the monsters in this high-energy song-and-dance review hosted by Fright Fest’s mother monster herself, Margo Rita, and her sister, Tequila Sunrise. Join Margo, Tequila and the queens as they raise the dead and death drop for the crown.

  • Slider of the Night – The undead spark the night for a ghoulish competition on all fours at this slide-or-die theatrical experience.
  • Unleashed – We invite you to an opening scaremony of horrifying proportions. Join CARNAGE and his disciples as they ignite the night with nightmares of all realms.

Fright Fest admission options at Six Flags Magic Mountain include:

  • Single Day Admission – A single day ticket grants access to Fright Fest to enjoy the shows, scare zones and other frightful delights. Guests will need to purchase a Haunted Attractions Pass if they wish to access the park’s Haunted Mazes with an optional Express upgrade available that allows for priority entry to all haunted mazes.
  • Pass Holder Admission – Fright Fest admission is included with valid Season Passes* and Memberships. A Haunted Attractions Pass is required for entry into haunted mazes. Season Passholders looking for season-long scares may purchase an All-Season Haunted Attractions Pass to be added to their Season Pass. *Blockout dates may apply.

Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain will operate on select Thursdays through Sundays, from Sept. 19 to Nov. 2 with a total of 26 nights of fright. The park will be open for daytime operations on select calendar days from 10:30 am to 7 pm, with Fright Fest running from 7 pm to 12 am on Thursdays and Sundays, and 7 pm to 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

A chaperone policy and other codes of conduct will be in effect. Please visit the website on August 12 for more information regarding bags, costumes, re-entry and more. Fright Fest is not recommended for children 12 and under.
