Reports have Paramount chasing after film rights for Call of Duty. While various rumors of projects have popped up over the years; nothing came of it.
In the wake of the Skydance acquisition of Paramount and subsequent changes; it appears that the Call of Duty rights have gained major interest from the new Paramount leadership structure.
While no deals or talent is in place; the success of the Sonic films could be a big motivation for the studio.
