Los Angeles, CA – Sponsored by Dark Matter TV and StreamVision, the Dark Matter Film Festival, held on October 28th – October 30th, is set to present a legacy panel featuring acclaimed actor Robert Englund who starred as Freddy Krueger in the film series, A Nightmare on Elm Street. In addition, directors Chuck Russell, Rachel Talalay, Jack Sholder, and producer Sara Risher will join Robert to relive the making of one of the most iconic horror franchises in film history.
Robert Englund is set to unveil his star on the Hollywood walk of fame on October 31st to honor the 40th Anniversary of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge, directed by Jack Sholder. In addition, Dark Matter Film Festival will be screening Freddy’s Revenge on October 28th immediately following the panel. Chuck Russell, director of the third film in the franchise, Dream Warriors, and Rachel Talalay, director of the final film, The Final Nightmare, will be on the panel as well as Sara Risher, who produced the entire series, to offer an exclusive inside look on the behind-the-scenes secrets of the franchise.
