This looks like a fun update for players.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 is now live on PC/Mac. Continuing the adventure that began with Part 1 in June, Part 2 will see players venture into the grim region of Eastern Solstice to finally put an end to the Worm Cult’s dreaded schemes for the besieged island. This release also features the Update 48 base-game patch, introducing a series of improvements and fixes, including the addition of a brand-new event.
Access to the new region and storyline in Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 requires the conclusion of the Battle for the Writhing Wall event on players’ chosen server — check out the event page for each server’s status.
Once in Eastern Solstice, players will discover new dangers and mysteries previously barricaded by the Writhing Wall, including new world bosses, delves, and a public dungeon. This new region will also host the dramatic finale to 2025’s Worm Cult saga, which is a sequel to ESO’s original storyline a decade in the making. Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 is included in the 2025 Content Pass and 2025 Premium Edition. More information can be found on the ESO website.
Alongside the culmination of the Worm Cult saga, the Update 48 base-game patch introduces new fixes, balance changes, and additions to ESO, free for all players. These include updates to the leaderboard system, and a brand-new seasonal in-game event: Heart’s Week. More details on everything included in Update 48 are available in the official patch notes.
Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 and Update 48 arrive for Xbox and PlayStation consoles on November 12. More information on all the new content is available here.
