Knott’s Merry Farm And Magic Mountain Reveal Holiday Magic

We are looking forward to this great event.

This holiday season, Knott’s Merry Farm and Magic Mountain’s Holiday in the Park invite guests to immerse themselves in enchanting winter wonderlands. At Knott’s Merry Farm, running Nov. 21 through Jan. 4, the park will come alive with the magic of the holiday season, featuring beloved traditions such as Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas and the mesmerizing Snow and Glow experience. This year, the park is set to unveil an extraordinary new centerpiece, a dazzling Christmas Tree that stands tall and proud, adorned with over 7,000 twinkling lights, a hundred custom-made candles and a stunning array of vintage Victorian-inspired wood ornaments.

Meanwhile, select evenings Nov. 27 through Jan. 4, Magic Mountain’s Holiday in the Park will glimmer with over two million lights and stunning, larger-than-life ornaments. The season promises to be merrier and brighter than ever as the park proudly debuts a spectacular tree lighting ceremony. Each evening festivities will kick off with enchanting dancers, delightful singers and the breathtaking illumination of a colossal Christmas tree.

Knott’s Merry Farm

Tis the Season Tree Lighting. The nightly ceremony in Calico Park is a favorite celebration featuring an abundance of dancers, singers and nostalgic charm.

Christmas in Calico continues as the Snow and Glow experience will fill the buildings and paths with thousands of lights dancing to the beat of Christmas music while “snow” gently falls throughout Ghost Town. The Wilderness Dance Hall will transform into Santa’s Christmas Cabin, where the entire family can create fond memories by taking photos with Santa Claus and his friends. At The Bird Cage Theatre, Knott’s melodrama company will present a reimagined Charles Dickens classic, A Calico Christmas Carol. The theatre will also present the heartwarming Knott’s version of O. Henry’s classic tale of love and sacrifice, The Gift of the Magi, 1885.

Knott’s own vocal quartet, the Ghost Town Carolers, will transport guests back in time to a Victorian Christmas as they perform the season’s songs throughout the streets of Ghost Town. Yuletide cheer is in store with Home for the Holidays, where joyous merriment will take over the Calico Mine Stage with dancing and fun set to popular holiday tunes.

Over at the Walter Knott Theater, Snoopy and the Peanuts gang will once again take to the ice in Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas. This guest favorite returns with the Knott’s Ice-Skating Ensemble and Snoopy retelling the classic poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” that has been re-imagined Peanuts style.

At the Fiesta Plaza Stage, guests can enjoy Latin Caribbean and New York salsa as well as current American top 40 songs, with bands Adelaide Pilar and Junio. Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village is set to return with dozens of local artisans selling their unique gifts, including chainsaw wood carvings and elegant glass blowing.

It’s not a holiday celebration without festive food. Throughout the park, guests can indulge in traditional holiday classics with a twist, including chicken tamale fries, a turkey corn dog with a stuffing seasoned batter and a gingerbread cheesecake dip with Nilla wafers. At Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant, new specialty holiday offerings are back on the menu and bigger than ever with items meant to be shared such as a turkey club jumbowich.
