DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined Demo Review
DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined is a Turn-Based JRPG. This update of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past delivers rewarding classic exploration and a deep job system across its lengthy story line, all while incorporating modern features to ensure a smooth experience, even for those new to the series.
As a first-time Dragon Quest player, I was able to jump in and immediately grasp the mechanics. The game features an auto-attacking system along with a speed-up mode, which significantly increases the pace of combat. While there will be new features for long-time players designed to make the experience smoother than past games, these can only be revealed once the full game is released.
The world is vast, and both the animation and graphics have been updated. DRAGON QUEST VII is scheduled to release simultaneously on February 5, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Digital Deluxe Edition offers 48 hours of early access, starting on February 3, 2026
