Recently I got to speak with the lovely and talented Adrianne Palicki about her new movie “Texas Cult House” ad her work on The Orville.
- Well, I always jump at the chance to work with one of my dearest friends, Julia Barnett. I loved theme and the script, getting to play a mom, which is not a usual thing for me and of course, working in my back yard.
- It’s always exciting to work with friends in Ausitn. Working with up-and-coming actors is always dear to my heart.
- I hope they enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it. A fun, creepy original story that takes them out of their daily lives and allows them to be in the moment with us on screen.
- Do you have a preference for film or television, and which is more challenging?
- I would say, I love both for very different reasons. It’s always nice to have consistency and develop a character over time and develop a long-term family. But for a film, being able to create multiple characters in a shorter period of time is also a treat. I like them equally but for different reasons.
- The fans would be all over me if I didn’t ask — any favorite memories from The Orville? And is there any chance we might see you back if the rumors of a new season or project come true?
- My favorite memories of Orville are similar to my last answer, getting to develop a beautiful family with the cast and crew. Every day was challenging, but also a treat since we got to be together. I know there have been talks of a fourth season, but I have not heard of anything recently.
- With S.H.I.E.L.D. set to return in the comics, would you be up for a return to the Marvel Universe?
- I would love. love, love, to return to the Marvel Universe as Bobbi Morse. I loved playing Mocking Bird, she’s one of my favorite characters. If they ask me, I’ll be there!
- What do you have upcoming?
- I have a few things in development, but not in liberty to share with the world just yet!
