Hitman 2016 Celebrates 10 Years With A Vinyl Soundtrack Release

This sounds ideal for fans and collectors. It is hard to belive that it has been ten years already.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of HITMAN (2016), the first game in what has since become the World of Assassination trilogy, IO Interactive and Laced Records have unlocked the HITMAN music vault to bring Niels Bye Nielsen’s three scores to music services and lethally hot wax for the very first time.

Pre-orders are open now for a 4LP box set spanning 44 carefully curated tracks from HITMAN (2016), HITMAN 2, and HITMAN III, as well as bonus tracks from the Freelancer and Sniper Challenge modes. All tracks have been specially remastered for vinyl, with this unique collection capturing the cinematic tension and atmosphere at the heart of HITMAN: World of Assassination.

An Exclusive Edition variant with Sanguine Marble transparent black and red discs is only available via Laced Records, while a standard black edition is available via Laced and retail partners. 

For the vinyl box art, the IOI team created a bespoke sleeve design themed around the centres of power in the World of Assassination. Records are paired with printed inner sleeves and presented in a rigid board slip case with a printed silver laminate wrap, finished with a deadly stylish blood-red obi strip. 

This collectible box set also includes liner notes from composer Niels Bye Nielsen explaining his compositional process for each game in the trilogy.
