Bluey’s Quest For The Gold Pen Is A Delight For Gamers Of All Ages To Enjoy

Fans of the popular animated series Bluey will be thrilled with the release of Bluey’s Quest For The Gold Pen. The charming game features the characters and voices from the series and connects each game segment with an animated sequence that helps players feel like they are in an episode versus simply playing a game.

Playing as Bluey, players will be accompanied by Bingo in a visual style that resembles Bluey’s drawings as the two sisters make their way across various lands to gather items, interact with new friends, and solve puzzles to get needed items in order to advance to a new area.

The colorful animation and charm of the series are evident, and although the game is intended for younger players and fans of the series, I could not take myself away from it as I eagerly jumped, collected, and manipulated objects, and solved objectives in order to gain access to the next area.

While I am not a fan of having to make timed jumps in a game, the manner in which they were presented was a fair challenge, but not one that seasoned and younger gamers should have an issue with. The emphasis was on figuring out what to do versus having to play a twitch-style game.

I found myself at times having to decide between side quests and simply advancing to the new lands, but as the new areas increased in size, I was able to use Fast Travel locations to easily go between locales.

The map is also a big help as it allowed me to explore new areas and locate key things such as food items to offer to creatures who guarded the entry to the next area and would only allow passage once they had been fed a sufficient amount.

While I am not the core audience for the game, I was very familiar with the characters thanks to our Granddaughter, and the ability to jump into the fun and creative world of Bluey made this an adventure well worth taking and one that surpassed my expectations.

Fans of the series will not want to miss this delightful adventure, as it is perfect for families to enjoy along with younger gamers.
