Meow Wolf And Titmouse Come To SDCC

This is great news for fans.

Meow Wolf, the punk-born arts company known for transforming warehouses into wormholes, and Titmouse, the Emmy-winning renegade animation studio behind iconic favorites like Big Mouth, The Venture Bros., and Beavis and Butt-Head, today announced a new multi-year creative partnership spanning animation, immersive storytelling, and the development of an original series.

The collaboration will include co-development of original animated series projects based on Meow Wolf’s expansive story universe, with both Titmouse and Meow Wolf serving as Executive Producers. Titmouse Co-founder and CEO Chris Prynoski will oversee development on behalf of the studio. In addition, Titmouse will produce and direct animation for Meow Wolf’s upcoming Los Angeles exhibition, currently slated to open in Q4 2026, while also consulting on the exhibition’s visual and narrative design. The project marks the first large-scale collaboration between the two companies and lays the foundation for future creative projects together over the coming years.

“The first time I experienced Meow Wolf, my third eye popped open like a busted piñata. The color and texture and sound and chaos reverse-bled into my psychic veins,” said Prynoski. “I instantly knew these artists and their souls, although I had not yet met them. Now we are teaming up to tell stories that burst from the page onto the screen and then into the real world. Together, we’re not just pushing the envelope of animation, we’re folding it into an origami spirit and riding it through the psychedelic multiverse.”

Still from animation for Meow Wolf’s LA exhibit

“Titmouse and Meow Wolf are born from the same place – artist-founded, artist-driven, fearless and independent.” said James Stephenson, SVP and Creative Director of Emerging Media at Meow Wolf.  “Both studios have always been interested in finding the outer edges of what a story can be, what an audience can experience, and what is creatively even possible. By teaming up, we have brought together talents from many different disciplines to craft an experience in LA that is unlike any other – a truly new way to immerse yourself in our stories and worlds. And we could not be more excited to be partnering with them now to bring those stories and worlds to life far beyond our exhibition walls.”

Fans will get an early look at the collaboration during San Diego Comic-Con with the panel “Weirder Together: Meow Wolf + Titmouse,” taking place Thursday, July 23 from 4:00–5:00 PM in Room 25ABC.

Known for their visually ambitious storytelling and authentic creative identities, Titmouse and Meow Wolf share a common approach to worldbuilding: creating immersive, emotionally resonant experiences that extend beyond traditional entertainment formats. Titmouse has built a global reputation for bold, creator-driven animation that pushes the boundaries of the medium, while Meow Wolf has transformed immersive entertainment through large-scale interactive exhibitions visited by millions of fans nationwide. Together, the companies aim to expand how audiences experience original stories across physical spaces, animation, and multimedia platforms.

Additional details surrounding the Los Angeles exhibition and future animation projects will be announced in the coming months.
