Jason Statham is back in “Mutiny” and gives fans plenty of revenge fueled action to enjoy.
Statham stars as Cole Reed, a former police officer and military operative who has spent the last few years as a bodyguard to a wealthy shipping magnate.
Cole has become like family to his employer and his boss plans to sell the company in order to provide an opportunity for his only son to find his own path in life.
When an attack leaves his employer dead and Cole wanted for the murder, Cole sneaks onto a freighter after finding clues at the scene of the attack.
Cole soon discovers the ship contains a dark secret and must battle the crew in order to bring justice and get the revenge he seeks.
His only help comes from a last minute crew replacement (Annabelle Wallis) who also discovered the dark secrets of the boat and wants no part of it.
The two face a deadly crew and Cole unleashes his skills to dispatch those who get in his way which should keep fans thrilled throughout.
The action is more brutal than people may expect and had the audience at our screening cheering as enemy after enemy was dispatched.
While the plot and characters may not be overly complex, they deliver what fans want for a film of this type and exactly what was expected.
“Mutiny” delivers plenty of action and is the perfect late summer film for those looking for intense action.
