Based on the cult 1979 film of the same name, The Warriors by Rockstar games delivers action in spades that will satisfy even the most jaded gamers.
The story follows the film as a gang known as The Warriors is wrongly blamed for the death of a rival gang member and find themselves twenty miles from their home turf and surrounded by thousands of rival gangs who want nothing more than to kill them and keep them from getting to safety.
The game starts before the death of the gang leader Cyrus, as players have to beat and rob people in order to gain enough street cred. One on the run, the game is a hyper violent, and amazingly addictive action fest that rivals anything that RockStar has ever created, and that is saying something with their impressive catalog.
Graphically the game works well and the controls are easy to master which allows players to fully immerse themselves in the game.
Director Walter Hilll helped wit the design of the game which allows the game to capture the tone of the film. The game is very addictive and is one of the best titles out for the PSP system.
