Phoenix Fan Fusion Cancels Their Rescheduled 2020 Show

After doing a reschedule Phoenix Fan Fusion has become the latest show to cancel.

Dear Friends,

We have been looking forward to seeing you all at our next convention; unfortunately, we’re going to have to wait just a bit longer. Considering the current degree of uncertainty about when mass gatherings can resume, watching the rising cases of COVID-19 in Arizona, and after consulting with the Phoenix Convention Center and City of Phoenix officials, we will not be holding our September 25-27, 2020 convention. While we are as disappointed as we know you are, we feel this is the best option, as the safety and well-being of our attendees and participants is of utmost concern to us. We are a Phoenix-based, locally owned, small business and we understand that our success is because of you. We continue to wish for the safety and health of all our Fan Fusion family and can’t wait to see you all again at our next convention, May 28-30, 2021 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

If you have already purchased passes for our 2020 event, they will automatically transfer to the 2021 dates. You won’t need to do a thing. If you are unable to make the 2021 dates you can transfer the passes free of charge to a friend or family member who can, or contact us at [email protected] to donate them to a worthwhile organization or roll them over to our 2022 event, scheduled for May 27-29, 2022.

Those who have purchased booth or table space for the 2020 event will have their booth or table purchases automatically transferred to the 2021 dates. They will receive additional information by email.
The complimentary Buddy Pass received when buying a Full Event or VIP pass will be honored for May 28, 2021.

If you booked a hotel room at the Sheraton or Renaissance, they will process a batch cancellation of all reservations for September. The Embassy Suites will contact guests to see if they want their reservation canceled or moved to 2021. We are waiting word from the Hyatt and Hilton Garden Inn on their process and will send updates as soon as we have them.

As much as we hope all of you will join us in 2021, we know there will be some people unable to attend. Please contact us at [email protected] with additional concerns so we may address them directly and confidently.

In the meantime, know that we appreciate your ongoing support and commitment to Phoenix Fan Fusion and cannot express enough our gratitude for your patience and understanding during these most trying of times. We missed seeing everyone this past Memorial Day weekend and we’ll miss seeing you all in September. We’ll be counting the days till May 28 when we can celebrate our fandoms together again!

Be safe, and of course, be excellent to each other.

Sincerely,

Phoenix Fan Fusion Staff
