Online gaming is still incredibly popular; whether you access it via console, handheld, or PC, there are plenty of epic games to play either alone or collaboratively with friends. The game has been around for quite some time as it was released over a decade ago in 2009 but remains one of the most popular games on the Internet. If you want to play collaboratively, you can have five players in your team, so if there’s more of you, you simply have to form more than one team to play against each other. You are able to create your character as there is plenty of various champions to choose from. The object is to attack your opponent’s base by strategizing and executing the best plan possible. The game is available to both PC users and Apple Mac users and being on other platforms, and the maximum player count is 10, split across two teams of five.”

If you prefer racing games, then Mario Kart 8 deluxe could be the perfect starting point. Obviously, it is more cartoon than serious racing and features the longstanding Italian plumber and his hat plus brother. As the name suggests, this is the 8th time the game has been remade and, in this version, there are over 40 characters for you to choose from. Whether you want to play as Mario and Luigi or whether you prefer Yoshi, Bowser or Princess Peach. This is a battle Royale and is produced by Epic Games. It is cross-platform and also offers multiplayer functionality, so it doesn’t matter what console or system you are using; you can join up with your friends and form a team of up to four people and then battle other teams. It is pretty much available on every platform you can think of, including PlayStation 5, Xbox series X, Xbox One from a PlayStation 4, Nintendo switch, windows, Mac and mobile versions for Android and iOS.

Animal Crossing has graced online gaming for many years now and is available in different chapters, with New Horizons offered for Nintendo switch players. It is an incredibly popular game that is innocent and a great way to pass the time of day. It features an eight-player multiplayer, and there is the ability for four players to be on the same island at the same time. It has really well-designed graphics and the realistic setting includes seasons predefined, and you can watch them change as you play.

Minecraft is another game that you have probably heard of and assume is just for youngsters and kids. However, it’s actually quite an exciting game where you can build things in this block world with the tagline for the game, suggesting ‘if you can dream it, you can build it. It is another game that came from zero to hero and was unheard of when it was first released in’ 2011 but quickly became one of the most popular games on the planet with merchandising streams and other items in the franchise. There is multiplayer functionality, but you can play alone; if you play in a team, you can have up to 8 players at any one time.

It exists on various consoles and platforms and offers multiplayer functionality making this a great game through a group of friends. There is a lot of strategy involved in the game, and even if you don’t think you are a first-person shooter fan, it could be worth a look as it is a top-rated game that has appealed to all different types of player over the years.
