Sesame Place San Diego is saluting America’s 250th birthday with the extension of its Fourth of July Sale, providing guests the best offer of the year: savings up to 50% on tickets and 2026 Season Passes now through July 5.
In honor of America’s 250th Birthday, Sesame Place is extending its special offer to active‑duty military and veterans. In addition to a complimentary single-day ticket for themselves, active-duty military members and veterans will receive THREE complimentary admission tickets, plus an additional FOUR bonus tickets, valid for visits through July 5, registry required by June 30 at www.wavesofhonor.com.
Sesame Place is full of furry fun all summer long with Sesame Summer Splash. Sesame Place will offer a special themed menu at Dine with Elmo & Friends, perfect for making holiday memories with everyone’s favorite Sesame Street friends. Guests are also invited to enjoy the park’s amazing water attractions, rides, parades and a lineup of sun-sational events all summer long.

Sesame Summer Splash Event Highlights:
- Tango’s Gotcha Celebration – From July 10-12, guests can celebrate Elmo’s adopted puppy, Tango, and the day she made her way to Sesame Street. Guests can meet Tango throughout the day and are invited to go on a scavenger hunt around the park to find all the puppy items Elmo needs to take care of Tango! Guests can pick up a free scavenger hunt sheet at Guest Services.
- Waterpark Challenge – On July 28, in honor of National Waterpark Day, water slide enthusiasts are invited to Sesame Place San Diego to complete the Waterpark Challenge and enjoy select water rides and slides for a prize.
- Best Friends Weekend – A celebration of friendship all weekend long August 1-2! From Bert and Ernie to Elmo and Abby, these friends are pairing up to share fun and heartwarming moments with guests. The park offers Best Friends Meet & Greets, a special friendship-themed storytime, and more!
- B is for Bubbles Weekend – Bubbles all around from August 7 – 9 as families will be dazzled by bubble performers, meeting enchanting mermaids, and jumping to the beat during the Furry Friends Bubble Dance Party.

The Fourth of July Sale is available now through July 5.
SeaWorld San Diego is also honoring U.S. military active-duty service members, veterans, and their families through the Waves of Honor program, extending its special offer to active‑duty military and veterans. A special Fourth of July Celebration 15-minute semi-quincentennial fireworks display, “America Together” will take place on July 4, 2026. The show offers a stunning blend of color, music, and sky-high pyrotechnics set to a triumphant soundtrack—creating a celebration of freedom and fun the whole family will love. In addition, each morning on July 3–5, guests can participate in a meaningful Flag Ceremony honoring the brave members of our military.
On July 4–5, the park will also host a special Military Appreciation Weekend, featuring America250-inspired activities, games, and pop‑ups from local veteran organizations—including Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, Blue Star Families, Wounded Warrior Project, Adjoin, and Freedom Dogs.
Concluding the weekend, and in alignment with SeaWorld’s mission to protect our ocean and waterways, the park will host a beach cleanup at Fiesta Island for Pass Members and Ambassadors on Sunday, July 5.
Guests can dive into a thrilling lineup of summer entertainment featuring two ALL-NEW daytime animal presentations including Dolphin Adventures; the debut of three ALL-NEW nighttime animal presentations featuring sea lions, dolphins, and orcas, respectively; and the park’s first ever, show‑stopping Ocean of Dreams drone spectacular lighting up the night sky. Additional reasons to visit this summer include the ALL-NEW Shark Encounter, inviting guests to come face to fin with jaw-dropping sharks from 11 remarkable species in an immersive, interactive experience that journeys from shallow coastal waters to the mysterious depths of the ocean.
Through Aug. 18, guests ages 21 and older can enjoy refreshing seven-ounce ice cold beer for just $1 at High Tide Brews.
