Godzilla Minus Zero: Los Angeles Dodgers Takeover Video

Godzilla took over Dodger Stadium last night as the Los Angeles Dodgers and TOHO celebrated Godzilla Minus Zero Night, bringing the King of the Monsters to the ballpark ahead of the film’s November 6 theatrical release.

The special event featured Godzilla Minus Zero star Ryunosuke Kamiki throwing out the ceremonial first pitch to Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, a limited-edition Godzilla Minus Zero bobblehead giveaway for the first 40,000 fans, and a spectacular postgame Godzilla-themed drone show. The celebration also featured Godzilla’s return to the stadium and a special screening of the film’s latest trailer on the videoboard, creating a major crossover moment between the iconic Japanese franchise and one of Los Angeles’ most recognizable sports teams.

The collaboration comes ahead of Godzilla Minus Zero, the follow-up to the Oscar-winning Godzilla Minus One, which arrives in theaters nationwide November 6.
