Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics have just released the newest mini-documentary episode on the making of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a stunning reimagining of Lara Croft’s defining 1996 debut adventure.
Bradley Snedeker will be portraying Larson Conway, one of Lara’s rivals in Legacy of Atlantis.
“Bradley had us at the voice – his voice seemed right on to us,” Jason Epps, Design Director at Crystal Dynamics said. “On top of that, his acting ability was really solid. He offered a nice emotional tenor to the character, keeping it somewhat light, but making it frivolous and throwaway, but actually as a real person. And I think we’ve made real strides to amplify Larson, and make him a meaningful character.”
Larson has a “friendly” rivalry with Lara Croft and while he always tries to one up her and feel like he’s on her level, it always seems like he’s one step behind our leading heroine – something that drives him as Legacy of Atlantis unfolds.
“Larson is a character who wants to make good,” Epps continued. “But he’s never felt like he’s ‘fit in’ and gotten the kudos he deserves. And so he is very pointed at proving who he is.”
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will launch Feb. 12, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2.
