Good Boy Is A Dark Yet Enjoyable Horror Film From A Dog’s Perspective

We have had Horror films from the killer’s perspective, such as in “In a Violent Nature,” but “Good Boy” is an interesting variation in that it is told from the perspective of a dog named Indy who accompanies his master to all of his adventures and outings, including to the Doctor when his owner’s health issues emerge.

Taking place in a remote home, Indy notes something is very wrong as he has visions of supernatural and dark forces in and around the home. As his concerns grow, he notes a change in his owner and becomes even more protective of him than he already is.

The film builds to a dark story, but one that I am sure any dog lovers will enjoy, as the bond between dog and human is the key to the film, and Director Ben Leonberg used his own dog to star in his first film, and it was a winning decision.

The film is clearly an independent project and lacks the bells and whistles of a studio production, but instead tells a chilling tale with an original take and is one that horror fans will not want to miss.
