Brian Bosworth And Bo Jackson Reteam For New Tecmo Bowl KIA Ad
The second phase of a new campaign from Kia Motors will debut during NBC’s upcoming “Sunday Night Football” broadcast on Sunday, 9/18. Nearly 30 years after crossing paths in Seattle, football legends Bo Jackson and Brian Bosworth take the field once again in a new advertising campaign debuting online today for Kia Motors’ award-winning Sorento. When the “MVP of SUV’s” effort airs this Sunday, it will mark Kia’s third consecutive season with NBC’s “Sunday Night Football,” and offer a new twist on Tecmo Bowl, still considered one of the best sports video games ever nearly three decades after its release.
Bo and “The Boz” are transported into Tecmo Bowl’s signature 8-bit graphics and sound effects in the campaign. The spots – “Tecmo Bros” and “Tecmo Bo” – feature the pro-football legends shoulder to shoulder with the Kia Sorento, this season’s MVP!
