Skylanders Imaginators Announces Creator App
Get ready Portal Masters… Skylanders Imaginators is about to blow your creative minds with another major announcement! Not only will Skylanders take fans on an epic creative adventure when the game launches on October 16th, but now, fans will have the power to create their own Skylanders characters (and MORE) from infinite possibilities right at their fingertips with the free Skylanders Creator mobile app.
Available on select iOS and Android devices on October 12th, the Skylanders Creator App let’s fans:
- Create on-the-go with all of the same features, options and creation parts that are available in the console game with bonus fun only for app users!
- Transfer characters you’ve created in-game to the app using Chirp technology. No USB chords or online connection requirements, just place your mobile device close to the television and watch the magic begin!
- For the first time in toys-to-life history, fans can immortalize their characters by purchasing them in three ways directly from the app: My Skylander T-Shirt, Imaginator playable 2-D collectible card, or a fully playable 3-D printed Imaginator toy!
- Win a 3D character: starting October 24th, fans can create an Imaginator in Skylanders Imaginators or using the Skylanders Creator app and share on social media channels using the dedicated #CreatorContest to win a free 3D figure!
