Suncoast Casino: Las Vegas

During our annual trip to Las Vegas to cover The Consumer Electronics Show; we stayed at the Suncoast Casino. This was our first time visiting the locale and my Brother in Law who lives in the area had said that it was a good option for us even though it was about 25 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip.

We had plenty of parking options in the lot available after we arrived and made our way to the check in desk with our baggage. The staff was very pleasant and prompt and had us checked in quickly and directed us to where we could sign up for a Rewards Card which allowed discounts on the Buffet and other benefits.

Our room was very nice as it was spacious and had a large bathroom, couch and lounge area, a desk and work area, and plenty of shelf and drawer space. The room also had a small refrigerator and a safe and a flat screen television.

We opted to eat at the St. Tropez Buffet and they had stations of cuisine incorporating Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Seafood, American, and Mongolian foods to go with the salad and dessert stations. The food was very good and step above most buffets as it was not dry or chewy at all and offered abundant options to the point where after eating there for three nights of our stay; we still had several options to try without being forced to repeat ourselves. There is also a breakfast buffet which served our needs very well on a Saturday morning as we just wanted to rest and relax after covering the show.

The resort offered a pool and gym although the pool was closed for the season during our visit. Being a Las Vegas resort there was naturally a theater for live entertainment but there was also a cinema, bowling alley, arcade, and various other dining options from high-end, specialty, and casual dining options.

On our final night we opted to get some food from the Bagel Corner Deli as well as Subway which were both located by the main gaming area. The food was very good and capped off an evening watching Football perfectly.

The resort has abundant gaming and we made sure to play some of the Slots but those wishing card and table games will also have plenty of options available for them.

The room was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and attentive. I had left my phone at the Buffet and went back to get it not five minutes after we left. While our server had not seen it; my phone was already logged at security and returned to me promptly.

The room allows up to three devices a day to get free Wi-Fi via your resort fee, but after our phones were set; we had to decide which Laptop got the third option.

The resort is located near a Golf Course and had easy access to the freeway as well as multiple dining options and stores near the resort.

Our Checkout was very prompt and like on so many trips we could not believe that our visit was already over. We were so happy with our stay and the value we got that we have already planned to look to stay here again on our trip next year.
