LOS ANGELES (Nov. 9, 2020) – 100 Thieves is expanding into Call of Duty: Warzone with the signing of Twitch streamer Thomas “Tommey” Trewen as the team’s first professional Warzone player and content creator. Tommey has been professionally competing in Call of Duty for the past decade and just earlier this year, he decided to make the switch to Warzone full-time. He is currently one of the best Warzone players in the world.

Tommey will be joining 100 Thieves’ growing roster of star esports players & content creators, which includes CouRageJD, Valkyrae, Hiko, MrSavage, Arkhram, and many others.

“Tommey started his professional career in Call of Duty around the same time I did so I’ve known him for a very long time,” said Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, Founder & CEO of 100 Thieves. “He’s a very well-respected member of the esports community and one of the best players I have ever seen in Warzone. Personally, I couldn’t be happier to have him on the team.”

“I have a lot of respect for Nadeshot and what he’s built with 100 Thieves so it’s a dream to join the family,” said Tommey. “I look forward to working alongside all the amazing creators & staff on the team. Ready to win some chips for 100 Thieves!”

This is 100 Thieves’ second announcement in Call of Duty this month. Last Friday, the team announced their entry into the city-based Call of Duty League for 2021 with a brand new Los Angeles team, LA Thieves. The announcement made waves in the Call of Duty community, garnering over 5 million impressions and 2 million video views within the first day. The team is now the third most followed team on social media in the Call of Duty League.
